Overdramatic and boring. Doesn't really bring anything new to relationship movies.

A favorite. Fantastic film about a group of friends dealing with love, relationship, family, and friendship.

    Brilliant!

Excellent script, performances, and concept, but despite all the deep emotions and intellectual rationalizations, I still found the story a little reductive. Fabulous acting in this simply-told, but very complex story about adult relationships and friendships and the changing dynamics of a group going through their mid-life crisis years.

The film is not nearly as gay as the poster suggests. The writing is impressive. It was able to suggest and evoke so much without going into well-worn cliches or naive polarities of right and wrong. The flashback scene makes the movie sag a little but for an understated film it's...( read more) really quite good. It reminded me of the domestic parallel to Woody Allen's Matchpoint but without the macabre ending.
