Plot: A caveman and two dinosaurs are time travelled into the modern day and the object is to destroy the one reptile that is flesh-eating carnivore.
Some movies make your eyes roll with their very concept--in this case a construction crew on a Caribbean Island building a harbor uncovers a frozen Tyrannosaurus, Brontosaurus, and Neanderthal. Never mind that each of these three creatures was separated by millions of years. Anyways, lightning revives them and the Tyrannosaurus goes on a very discrete rampage--rather than eat his victims, he just carries them off in his stubby forearms and apparently eats them once the camera goes somewhere else--while the Brontosaurus and the caveman befriend a little boy. Of course, the caveman gives his life to save the heroes from the human villain while the brontosaurus is fatally wounded by the T-Rex and then drowns in quicksand. The T-Rex--after proving to be unbothered by Molotov Cocktails--is then knocked over a cliff by a steam shovel and his dead body sinks to the Ocean floor. Over this image "The End" morphs into a big "?"--a trademark of the director, clearly as The Blob ends the same way. The film is largely inoffensive--except for some simply awful stereotypes such as a town drunk who is blatantly Irish and a black guy on watch duty who falls asleep at his post. The special effects consist of awful rear projection, amateurish stop-motion, and some rather effective puppets for close-up shots. The T-Rex's animation is particularly pathetic as he walks like a flat-footed duck. If you're looking for a mildlyt diverting b-movie you could do worse, but you could do a lot better as well.
