Critic Reviews

  • Lisa Rose, Newark Star-Ledger

The shtick is desperately crude and not particularly funny. One wonders why any actress, even a retired MTV game show hostess, would stoop to such a disgraceful gig.

  • Stephen Holden, New York Times

Even by the standards of its bottom-feeding genre, Dirty Love clings to the gutter like a rat in garbage.

  • Jami Bernard, New York Daily News

Comedy can be a deadly weapon in the wrong hands.

  • Kyle Smith, New York Post

Jenny McCarthy's giddy charm is wasted by screen writer Jenny McCarthy.

  • Kevin Crust, Los Angeles Times

    Attention, Razzie voters.

Hilarious and cheeky comedy of sexy Jenny McCarthy who throws herself from one wild comic stituation into another. Jenny does an excellent job in her acting and script in this film.

Crazy insane and ridiculous humor all balled up into one boisterious adventure. Jenny McCarthy as the woman rejected by her ex-boyfriend and how she handles rejection is stuffed with forced laughter with the antics she goes through...See this if you dare...Ha ha...not.

    Super funny!

Dirty indeed, from the content to the camera lenses. I can't recall if this was 'really bad' or just plain 'bad' so I'll split the difference. I did feel sorry for Jenny McCarthy who certainly tries hard here, unfortunately she was the only one.
