A reasonable stab at remaking a classic of the noir genre, but the lightweight leads feel more like a couple looking for a wacky rom com than a gritty thriller, and the twist at the end is unconvincing. The strong concept keeps it watchable however, and Charlotte Rampling's prese...( read more)

Remake of D.O.A from 1950. The first one was an absolute disaster and the filmmaker should be punished for that, but this remake was slightly better. The plot was improved, and so was actors' performance. However, I wouldn't watch it again, once is enough.
