Its A Very Funny Movie. Its good for a laugh.
This was pretty funny in some places. The main character though, Bethany, was annoying. I liked that George Carlin was in it... and was a religious guy... that was funny. I didn't like how sometimes they would be talking about boring religious stuff for a bit too long though.....( read more)
One of the best ensemble cast ever. One of Affleck's best performances as a psycho-angel. Of course, Hayek is hot!
SO incredibly funny, as always Kevin Smith does a great job in developing characters, an unusual but new and different storyline that's just so incredibly funny good luck trying to catch your breath!
Dogma is arguably Kevin Smith's best movie to date. The storyline, as silly as it is, does raise a few interesting questions at religion in general. But overall its a Kevin Smith movie, expect gags and long talky scenes, however brilliant to watch.
There was a time when I thought Kevin Smith movies were funny - well written, cynically snappy, and ahead of their time. I realize now that I was drunk during this time. This movie is tripe.
Pretty funny movie. Kevin Smith is good at making good movies for very cheap.
Alongside Clerks and Chasing Amy, this is probably Kevin Smith's best movie ever! Jay and Silent Bob r hilarious in this one, and so is Alan Rickman. I can't believe i didnt see it earlier...
im not found of matt damon nor ben affleck. for me they can completly ruin any film only for 1 sec infront of the cam
Although not Kevin Smith's best in my opinion, I still liked this movie, and would watch it anytime I can catch it on TV.
One of my Fav Kevin Smith movies now that I live in Jersey I hope to meet him.
Irreverent and dark humored movie about how a loophole in the church's rule could destroy the universe. plus all the fun that a good road trip has while fending off evil minions.
i LOVED it-especially jay and silent bob-but mostly jay-he's HOT and so is the movie---VERY AWESOME
I liked this. A great story and although it wasn't very smooth in the telling it had some great ideas and played out nicely for my sense of humour.
Good stuff.
Love it - it's hilarious! 'Consequences, schmonsequences!' The cinematics weren't that fab but the story had a great twist and I love the dialogue. Alan Rickman was awesome, his skills are supreme.
Hilariously crazy. The presense of best friend Matt actually makes Ben a decent actor and pretty much everything about this great mess of jokes and faith is somewhat brilliant. I had a great time.
Absolute laugh riot. It also makes you think about some popular misconceptions regarding orthodox religion. I loved it!
When I finally happened to see this film on TV, I didn't see it as particularly blasphemous at all (and I'm a Christian). Sure, the movie takes plenty of shots at organized religion and man-made institutions, but it seems to treat the concepts of God and faith with a surprising a...( read more)

Behind the crudeness, rudeness, and general lewdness lies some solid humour, excellent acting, and some undeniable truths.
