The film is set in a house occupied by a collection of social misfits. The main storyline is that of a strange musician's relationship with a girl, their drug use and his band. A homicidal chainsaw maniac's lust for his machine and a T.V station's offer of money in return for a piece of the Skylab satellite that has fallen to earth are just two. The film is composed of small fragments in the lives of its inhabitants, each following onto the next, sometimes overlapping and ending in tragedy.

    They say if you remember Woodstock you weren't actually there. Well, if you weren't in a band and on the dole you didn't witness the 80's, anyway this Aussie slice-of-life captures the attitude, atmosphere and odours very well in the fact we were self-obsessed, shallow "Countdown...( read more)" watching bastards! Get the new 2-disc edition with the metal, powdercoated case with the excellent documentary "We're Living on Dogfood".....DVD Gold!!

    The goings-on in a shared house full of 20-somethings in the late 70s. Very well made and well acted Australian movie featuring the late Michael Hutchence in the lead role.

    Forget Suburbia and even Sid & Nancy. This is the best movie about punk rock ever made. The soundtrack introducted me to Iggy Pop and Gang of Four.     Out of the few movies that Michael was able to do in his short life,this is my favorite.He is a crazy ,funny,loveable character.He looked good and sounded good in this movie and oh.... the sex scenes are unreal,(if you are a real Michael fan you will know what I mean)rewind,pause,lol.Great Movie for any Michael fan!

    Dogs In Space is a great film! The characters are funny and intruiging. Every time you watch it, you pick up some other funny line or moment that you never noticed before. Love seeing Michael work his magic too!!! A must for any Michael Hutchence fan!
