This movie started out lame but the ending made up for it.

Ray Liotta stars as a talented medical intern whose life is stalled due to his devotion to a sweet-natured but retarded twin brother (Tom Hulce). This touching film by Robert M. Young (The Ballad o...( read more
)) may sound like a dreary, made-for-television potboiler, but it is full of interesting moments as Hulce's character--a garbage collector--follows his curiosity about the world and his sibling's new girlfriend (Jamie Lee Curtis). Young really works the bond between the two men: at one point he takes an overhead shot of the brothers showering, and it resembles what they must have looked like together as babies sharing the same womb. Hulce and Liotta are great together; it is easy to believe in every emotion they share. --Tom Keogh

Touching film with great performances. Manages to be inspired by the Of Mice and Men paradigm without being overly sentimental or cheesy. Tom Hulce delivered a performance up there with the greats in this.

Wonderful to see Ray Liotta in a sensitive role. Many teary moments in this, especially when the two brothers are together in scenes.

Just saw it for the first time. Another great performance by Tom Hulce! Where did he go? Ray Liotta did a nice job too. Good movie!

One of THE BEST movies I've ever seen! It's proof the endless talent Tom Hulce has-he can do anything! Also, Ray Liotta is equally excellent (as always). Perfect movie to showcase their talents.

Hulce delivers a blow. Watching this and Amadeus will make you really pissed that he left acting. Liotta works too.

Dominick and Eugene features wonderful performances by Ray Liotta and Tom Hulce. Hulce and Liotta star as brothers - one is mentally challenged and one is a medical intern. I felt that Jamie Lee Curtis (who played another intern and Loitta's love interest) seemed a little out of...( read more)
