If you are looking for an example of jaw-dropping ineptness, awful dialogue and point-it-and-shoot style directing then one is a humdinger! Obviously an attempt to cash in on the popularity of flesh-eating flicks like Cannibal Holocaust and the Don't Go Near titles of the late 70...( read more)s/early 80s, this plays more like an unintentional comedy than a horror film.

Acting and dialogue is more wooden than Noah's Ark but is all the amusing for it. True it does drag a little towards the end but you'll be too dazed and confused to really notice. Avoid alcohol or drug consumption while watching this movie otherwise they'll cart you off to that nice white padded cell.....And to think this was actually banned by the BBFC in the UK during the 1980s....

Pure insanity put on celluloid. I rented this years ago on VHS and the cheesy cover drew me in. Never in my wildest dreams could I have foreseen the film that was presented. Seriously, check out the plot synopsis on this sweet baby, and believe you me, the actual movie is even...( read more) stranger. It mentions nothing about the children who live in a shack in the park and the domestic story. Plus, the cannibal father names his daughter Bondi. Bondi I tell ya!

The Tamara Taylor pictured above as a cast member in "Don't Go Near the Park" is the wrong Tamara Taylor! I know because I am the right Tamara Taylor, and I now go by the name "Tammy Taylor". So please change the photo to correctly identify me as the actress in this 80's cult classic!
