MCT:July 19, 2008The continuity of Dragonball Z versus this film is off by miles!
The one thing that's for sure is this happens right after the arrival and defeat of all three Saiyans, since King Kai's helping out, Son Goku is alive, he mentions his son Gohan becoming a giant ape before, and he's familiar with the artificial moon trick Turles does....
However, the entire supporting cast of fighters are around as well including Piccolo, who were all dead by the end of the Saiyan Saga and only alive prior when Goku was dead, so it should be impossible since this takes place before the Namek trip and Goku couldn't become Super Saiyan.
(OOPS! ...Dear God, I may have just said far too much already) -

It's very good but they needed go into Turles' backstory more. Why does he look like Goku? Great action and I'm glad the movie used the entire Z team.

I saw this at the theaters and was blown away when I was 4. Now I look at it, and is one of the worst DBZ films in the series, but still I'm entertained and all of your favorite characters can be found here, fighting their asses off. Good.

Great movie of Drangon Ball Z. I like them all but I like this one 'cause it is about Goku's twin brother.

this is was a great movie,with all 7 early z fighters including yamcha,krillin,chiaotzu,piccolo,gohan,tien,and goku.
it`s a shame that the other 6 didn`t put much of a fight.
when i first played as turles in dbz bt2 i was amazed how cool he was,and that i could finally play as him.
turles is one of the coolest dbz movie villains ever.
