Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Despite some funny visual gags, this is one of DiCillo's disappointing comedies, also suffering from an unappealing turn from Elizabeth Hurley."
‑ Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.Com
"It doesn't always mesh perfectly, but DiCillo is working with a broad palette and his ability to mix comedy and drama is shown at full effect."
‑ Gil Jawetz, Cinema Gotham
"Perhaps if DiCillo's last two pictures weren't so clever, Double Whammy would stand on its individual merits a little more stably."
‑ Bill Chambers, Film Freak Central
"Tries too hard, forcing off-the-wall dialogue where it doesn't belong."
‑ Annlee Ellingson, Boxoffice Magazine
"Nothing particularly exciting or boring about this movie."
‑ JoBlo, JoBlo's Movie Emporium
"Pedestrian and contrived."
‑ Eric D. Snider,
