I fogot all about this. Watched it when it first came out and it was brilliant, could have been far better with great cast. Marc Warren didn't really suit the role and it just became laughable towards the end. When downhill once Rafe Spall's character was killed off...

As a Masterpiece Theater production, it's a bit slow and plodding but there are worthwhile segments throughout for the patient Vampire aficionado.

In a way it's cold but strong,tone makes it in some way better than the the - maybe even overly romantic though beautiful and impressiove 1992 adaptation. And this version is visually beautiful as weel, plus sexy. But especially I liked the way the actor of Dracula portrayed him....( read more)
