A stylish, witty, and highly entertaining little horror romp with just the right amount of horror, humour, and gross out. This is Raimi back in top form, doing what he does best!

    Highly recommended.

Homage to old school horror from Raimi which starts promisingly but descends into mumbo jumbo. Nice set pieces and stirling work from Lohman can't hide a plot twist so obvious it might as well have been written large across the screen. Missed opportunity.

I had high expectations for Sam Raimi's return to horror, but I was disappointed.

Ok, it was definitely cheesy at times, but the visual aspect was amazing. That's what kept me into it the entire time. I jumped a couple times, but it wasn't really scary.

This movie was a lot of fun as Sam Raimi went back to his Evil Dead style of film-making to tell this tale of a girl whos been cursed by a gypsy witch. Cool ending, although saw it coming but many laughs and scares along the way.

The special effects were soooo bad. They were obviously fake. This movie mostly used loud noises to scare you. It wasn't very good.
