Teenager Shane Chasing Horse (Eddie Spears) is a member of the Dog Soldiers gang on the Pine Ridge Reservation. His mom (Sheila Tousey) asks him to take his grandpa Old Pete Chasing Horse (August Schellenberg) to the All Nations Storytelling Powwow in Santa Fe, NM. Shane owes money to some gangsters, so he agrees in order to get out of town. As they drive across South Dakota in a beat-up old Ford, Grandpa tells stories about magical Lakota legends. I loved this movie. Various tales of different tribes told by storyteller Grandpa who decides to take a trip to a powwow, and requests the aid of his grandson to drive him there. Interesting movie and all on Natives. :)

A fantastic film!! One of my absolute favorites!! If you're into Native culture films, this has got to be one of the best in the category to see! IT'S A MUST!!!
