Drillbit Taylor was not as much heartwarming as some of Judd Aptow previous outings but it did contain the same humour and overall feel. Owen Wilson isn't on top form but does well in his role and works well with the three young leads. Some humerous situations and i think Drillbit feels like a Sunday afternoon family movie.
This actually was pretty funny. You can tell by the editing that this movie was a whole lot longer and then got cut to hell but in the end you still have a great time watching it.(nn)
This movie was ok. Not the greatest ever but fairly good. has some funny parts here and there. but wasn't that great. i don't know i guess may b expected it 2 b better. but still ok.
A watchable movie in which three boys hire Owen Wilson as their bodyguard to protect them from the highschool bully. Some funny bits, but Wilson is definitely capable of much better things.
This movie started off a bit slow, bt picked up halfway through. I did like the ending. I also wondered how it could be so easy to become a substitute. Owen Wilson was his usual self in this one.
I didnt think it would be good at all, but it really was. I loved some of the little quotes that were said and they made me laugh louder than anyone else in the theater. The cast was great, the little skinny boy was the best, I dont know his name, but he did awesome. It was very predictable, but at the same time, kept me and even my gparents interested the whole time.
This was a cool movie, produced by the same guy who did, "Superbad" but I liked this one alot better. There was an appearance by the Adam Baldwin from, "My Bodyguard."
Although this movie was OK in some of it, it definately without a doubt was not what I thought it would be. It had some good parts, some bad parts, and some just plain stupid parts. But the laughs were spread out thoughout the movie, which meant yoiu weren't too bored with it. But I guess watch it if there is nothing else really to watch.
Altogether alright....... kids will love it but personally I think I've seen alot more movies with the identical grasp of the same storyline....... overall, not as funny as it potentially could be......
Some funny scenes, the kids were friggin' hilarious...especially the white rapper wanna be. Definitely worth watching when ya have nothing better to do, lol
Wow... can't believe I never completed my critique on this flick. As stated before, it's a watered down version of Superbad... but y'know what? I enjoyed the hell outta this flick. I laughed my ass off, and that's a helluva lot more than I can say about the Harold and Kumar sequel. I hereby raise my original 3-star rating to 4 stars. If I'm crazy, so be it.
Surprisingly not completely unwatchable, while the characters seem a bit derived from Seth Rogan's other comedy movie Superbad it has a few moments that are legitimately funny and a pretty well-written ending. The child actors are pretty bad in this though, I can't blame the bullies for wanting to beat them up :P
