Plot: A prototype enhanced human, on the run from Chinese-hired hit men, hooks up with a dread-locked bystander, and the two of them elude their pursuers narrowly each time.
Top quality action comedy just as good as the likes of Rush Hour and others. Mark Dacascos and Kadeem Hardison are great!
A really entertaining B movie. Some good humor with martial arts sequences thrown in for good measure.
Shitloads of fight scenes! pretty much the whole movie. Action packed, wicked choreography & i like the story too. Nothing too deep jus kickass! Dacascos rips up in dis!
Not the best movie out there, but one of the most entertaining 90 mins you can spend in front of your tv.
A hilarious deconstruction of the 'buddy' movie. Try to find the rare Director's Cut. This flick was funny and well-written and Dacascos and Hardison make a very likeable pair. Brittany Murphy is very funny as a hyper/sociopathic teen.
Super human? They should have just called it "A day in the life of Mark Dacascos" Kadeem Hardison is actually funny in this too, as the stupid sidekick.
Sorry but I am a fan of Mark Dacascos. I like his movies, and his fighting style. Drive would have been a great series of movies. Kadeem Hardison gives a welcome comic relief as the buddy who does not fight. We all have one of those.
A perfect vehicle for Mark Dacascos. He is fantastic in this movie, and also gets to show off his goofy side. I even like the Kadeem Hardison as the black comic relief. A very fun action movie.
A superb martial-arts movie with the outstanding Mark Dacascos. He's moving incredible fast in this one, and doing all of his own stunts! The story of this road-movie is not a very big hurray though...
Mark Dacascos' action / martial arts are superb and quick than his latest action movies. Really amazing and big action scenes till the end. Look for Brittany Murphy in an early starring role.
I did not whach all of the movie but i did like what i saw. If i whtch the whole movie i would give it a higher rating
A genuine surprize at the back of theB-Movie racks- an action movie that really truly delivers on the bang bang bang and has an off-beat comiedc sensibility .
A great, fun film. It has a mixture of good comedy and great action, and the added bonus of Brittany Murphy being weird. "Why, if it isn't my favourite cheese-eating dick-monkey...".
I love this film. A cool plot and an awesome collection of fight scenes. See it and be plesantly surprised.
This fast paced, quirky martial arts buddy pic represents one of the best attempts to emulate Hong Kong fight choreography in an American made film. The star of the film is Mark Dacascos (who, if there was any justice in the world, should be a much bigger martial arts superstar). There's a nice chemistry between his and Kadeem Hardison's character and a gleefully loopy performance from Brittany Murphy.
