Great little action/SF/comedy. Mark Dacascos comes to play as he kicks ass, dances and verbally spars with Kadeem Hardison. I guess this got an R for some of the action, but really it just plays like a hyped up Power Rangers episode. Has a touch of Robocop, but don't expect anyth...( read more)ing more than a nod to the Asian cyborg in part 3.

Not even Audrey Horn v2.0 saves this crap

(BTW hate those Scanbox releases. Talk about downgraded DVD s)

It's very wacky (not always in a good way) and has some unfortunate wire work in a couple of places but other than that it's an enjoyable flick with some great fight scenes showing of Mark Dacascos' skills.

It's worth watching just for Dacascos' ass kicking ability. Hell, scan ...( read more)through it to all the action scenes if you can't stand the rest of it, but the fights are worth checking out.

    Bonkers B-movie. Underrated.

Toby Wong (Mark Dacascos) is a run away prototype of a new improved human experiment that hooks up with a man named Malik Brody (Kadeem Hardison) who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. The best way to describe "Drive" would be that it is a b-movie version o...( read more)f "Rush Hour" (even if it was released a year before the first "Rush Hour" movie) with Kadeem Hardison playing a less irritating Chris Tucker and Mark Dacascos as a less cool Jackie Chan. In the middle of the movie Brittany Murphy shows up as a over-the-top ridiculously funny motel owner named Deliverance and is the real highlight of the movie. In the end, "Drive" is pretty much a forgotten martial arts action comedy, it sure is silly but also pretty damn entertaining.

Ridiculously plotted mindless action thriller starring the likeable Mark Dacascos as Toby Wong, on the run and accompanied by a random man named Malik who he picks up at the beginning of the movie (and by the end you've sort of forgotten how because all subsequent events seem to ...( read more)strive to out-stupid each other). The martial arts are fantastically exaggerated, there are a few funny moments (and if not, it's pretty easy to take the piss out of), and Brittany Murphy's somewhat too short screentime is precious, but it's not a good film or anything...

    Great action.
    Just pure action.

This is a good film with the right mixture of comedy and action. Ok the story line is not really up to much but the fight scenes were really good. It makes a change for America to get a Martial Arts film right but they managed it with this. I thought it was funnier than Rush Hour...( read more) (this was made first).

Mark Dacascus is simply awesome, and needs more recognition for this hi-octane performance!
