The current totalitarian government sends him to the past via "Drivetime" to retrieve archival footage of the pre-catastrophe world. When workers lose track of Real Time, the government sends tracers to reabsorb them into Dream Time -- or something like that. Flux goes to 1999 Seattle and watches the TeleVisionary Terrorist NetWeb along the way. The plot then gets lost in a barrage of found footage, dime-store philosophy, and dream sequences as the government broadcasts footage of non-existent riots in order to maintain "security." ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi
