Jesse (Ashton Kutcher) and Chester (Seann William Scott) are two hard-partying dudes who wake up after a very long night on the town to discover they've forgotten the presents they bought for their girlfriends Wanda (Jennifer Garner) and Wilma (Marla Sokoloff), twins who are more than a bit miffed that the stoners they've come to tolerate appear to have forgotten their anniversary. The presents are in Jesse's car, but they're so fuzzy on the details of the previous 24 hours that they have no idea where they left said automobile. Jesse and Chester set out to find their wheels, and along the way they discover that they had an even more eventful evening than they imagined, as strippers, aliens, a suitcase full of money, and a kitchen full of pudding become important pieces in the puzzle of the missing car. Dude, Where's My Car? is a fun, dimwitted comedy about two hards partying stoners who've like the title of this movie implies have lost their car. The film is flawed yes, but it manages to be fun and wacky at the same time. This is the type of comedy you have to shut off your brain to enjoy, it really is the only way to. The gags on screen are bearable and the story is ridiculous but fun. I would say that this is one of my many guilty pleasures. The story is paper thin, and the acting isn't great, but to me, theres a certain appeal that I like about this film. The film is fun if you're in the mood for something totally stupid. If you don't like this type of humour, then Dude where's my car? is not the film for you. The film does manage to make you laugh, but it's never anything too hysterical. The funniest bit of the film were the chicks looking for the Contiuum Transfunctioner. I thought that was absolutely wacked and very funny. Kutcher and Sean William Scott are likeable, nothing too great. But I thought they managed something pretty decent. Dude Where's My Car? was never meant to be a comedy classic. I view it as an average enjoyable comedy with decent laughs. The film is fun, if you're in the right state of mind for this type of humour. Dude Where's My Car? is harmlesss fun simple as that.

after a night they cant remember comes a day they wil never forget. Ashton Kutcher stars as Jesse, while Seann William Scott ( i like this guy he always cracks me up in movies)stars as his best mate Chester, theyre a couple of idiots, plain and simple. The movie opens after a particularly harsh night of partying, and they cant remember a thing and Jesses car is missing (hence the title) the rest of the film follows their various misadventures as they attempt to recover the lost car,and make up with their angry girlfriends.

I understand this movie was meant to be stupid, but this is almost too stupid. The movie jumps right into the conflict of the "where's my car" issue. It started really fast, I didn't even get a chance to meet the characters yet. Then the whole plot is all over the place- sloppy, rushed and pointless. The Hangover meets Dumb and Dumber, except it's not funny. The characters are so stupid, I'm pretty sure I lost IQ points listening to them talk to each other. The word "Dude" was used so many times, it wasn't funny, it was annoying. This movie would probably be a hilarious movie, if you were drunk while you watched it. However, for the rest of us, it pretty much sucked.

We all need a pick-me-up sometimes. This movie is like that. "Dude, Where's My Car?" is the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen. But that's why it's named "Dude, Where's My Car?" instead of, uh, "A unique humble introspective into the lives of two dudes". What you see is what you get. Sweeeet! You need not think thoroughly as you watch, because the plot is simply laid out for you. The one-liners are redundant, and like everything else in this film, and hilarious when you account for the fact that Jesse and Chester are just happy stoners. This movie was in theaters when I was in high school. And it captures how small these self-absorbed stoners are in the perspective of the whole world, er, universe. Coooooool!! Dude, there's no responsibility placed upon the viewer in order to figure out any complex plot. Just remember how some of your stoner peers acted in high school, and you'll understand this movie! Sweeeeeet! The soundtrack wraps itself around silly nonsense such as Jesse and Chester's dialogue, Chester's facial contortions, and The Twins acting like they still have faith in the guys! Whoooooaaa! If you found any part of my review annoying, then you would take this movie too seriously, and therefore shouldn't buy it. But if you liked the lightheartedness, then enjoy! I give it 4 stars because this film knows what it is and doesn't need to be sophisticated! Don't think too hard, just sit back and enjoy!

This is definitely one of those 'why on Earth did I bother' films, but I just had to check out just how bad it really was. VERDICT: Don't waste your time on this one.
