The reason why I want to punch Ashton in the face (other than being married to Demi Moore). This movie was so retarded it made Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure seem like On the Waterfront. Biodome had more brain power than this stupid mess.

The plot was stupid. A silly movie, but I found it kind of funny.
  • October 12, 2009
ashton you forgot where you park the car?
  • October 11, 2009
Lame-brained yes, but not as lame-brained as all the parody films out there. Sometimes we need a somewhat decent lame-brained film.

This fun rip off of the Waynes World and Bill and Ted films is not something you would want to watch if your looking for some award winning, mind blowing piece of cinema, however if your just looking for nice, light, slaptick, comic film this film is gurranteed to be a enjoyable ...( read more)ride and you'll be laughing at all the idiotic situations and cheesy jokes this film has.

    Dude, who funds this shit?
  • September 18, 2009
Idiot and idioter wake up and can't remember a thing about the previous night then spend the rest of the day piecing together what happened - mostly involving aliens. I really struggled to find any appeal in this film as every single character is completely stupid. Bill and Ted d...( read more)id it so much better.

3.5 of 5 stars for this funny but dumb sort-of sci-fi movie. This movie combines Ashton Kutcher with Seann William Scott (American Pie fame) in the lead roles as "stoners" who forgot what happened last night. On their journey to discover the past, they find an interesing trail of...( read more) money, women, aliens and other strange people/characters. Let's not forget that Jennifer Garner appears in the movie as a girlfriend. We specially liked the 5 alien women in the black jumpsuits. A wild, funny, odd and interesting movie. I do recommend this one! Oh, what the heck is a transfunctioner?

So stupid it is "good"! The cast made me watch it until it ended. Funny, I must accept it. Both Ashton and Sean were hilarious.

    36/100

Stupid, not funny and doesnt even work if you're stoned.
  • September 10, 2009
Kutcher is not a great actor.

"Jesse" (Ashton Kutcher) and "Chester" (Seann William Scott) wake up after a night of partying so hard they don't remember anything. They can't even remember where "Jesse" put his car.

Eventually, they discover that their adventures including taking a large sum of money from a...( read more) transvestite stripper and trying to find extra-terrestrial technology. All the while, trying to get their twin girlfriends (Jennifer Garner, Marla Sokoloff) anniversary presents.

Let me say first that this is a really stupid, predictable movie. However, there are a lot of chuckle-worthy gags throughout the movie.

About 99% of the jokes, sight gags and oral, is completely predictable. They were mostly horribly set-up to the point that you see the joke coming seconds before it happens. The other 1% only produced a fairly good chuckle.

Character development, for the most part, is poor. All the characters are one-dimensional. However, the development of "Jesse" and "Chester" were uniquely laid out as we get to learn about them through the film.

The performances from the majority of the cast were pretty weak, mostly due to what they were given to work with in the script. I think that they knew they were given a horrible script and didn't put their all into it. It sounded to me like they were just repeating what was on the pages they were handed. If you ask me, Kutcher and Scott were the only ones that were believable in their roles.

The supporting cast was one of the weakest I've ever seen. These characters were very cliche, and were pretty forgetable. There was no substance in them at all. They were either just there, or used to poorly advance the plot.

Then there is the special effects. There are a few, and they aren't edited into scenes well at all. In fact, even though this movie is nearly a decade old, the special effects in the climax look as if they were two decades old, and didn't age well.

The soundtrack is pretty forgetable as well. I don't remember any piece of music in the entire movie. Nor do I remember if any songs in the movie were either classic tunes or covers of popular songs.

I would suggest that you skip this movie. Only see this on television if there is nothing else on and you are bored.

  • August 4, 2009
Stupid film, obviously. Worth watching just once, then discard it. It has its moments, but nothing that will wow you.
  • August 4, 2009
Just as sophomoric and stupid as it's title suggests- no one can say they didn't know what they were expecting. Still, the movie does it's job for it's target audience- pot heads and well, Ashton Kutcher fans?
  • July 31, 2009
Almost entirely unfunny film, to an extent where the silly title and the fact this film is so bad is probably the funniest thing about this film - and this movie is occasionally offensive. Films where the main characters are morons have worked in the past - think 'Bill & Ted' and...( read more) 'Wayne's World', along with the sequals to both of them - but this unfortunately doesn't.

I have a soft spot for stoner or buddy films. I thought it was really funny, I laugh at a lot of stupid things, oh well.
  • July 6, 2009
A meme does not a film make. A rather sad attempt at a classic stoner-comedy.
