Critic Reviews

  • Richard Roeper, Ebert & Roeper

... has a flat, deadly aura and it's not even gutsy enough to be sexy or potentially offensive.

  • Desson Thomson, Washington Post

I wouldn't want you to consider even renting this thing.

  • Ann Hornaday, Washington Post

To call it sophomoric would libel even the most pathetic, pimply underclassman.

  • Claudia Puig, USA Today

The movie should have been called The Dumbest, because it no doubt will emerge as this summer's most inane release.

  • Peter Howell, Toronto Star

Every bit as awkward as its title, 'Dumb And Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd' is missing not only Carrey and Daniels, but also the creative spark and anarchic spirit contributed by brothers Peter and Bobby Farrelly, who wrote and directed the original.

This was god awful, one of the worst films in the history of man kind, not funny at all.

Prequel to Dumb & Dumber is an incredibly bad attempt at outdoing the original. Where to begin? The acting is terrible, the jokes are unoriginal, the script is terrible. This film one of the worst films that I have ever seen, and it doesn't deliver anything funny or amusing.… More

Weirdly enough, this was actually slightly entertaining. Sure, it's a sequel to a movie that could have not ever been made and no one would care, but it still delivers some nice timing and comedy skills unknowns aren't liable to possess.
