It's not touching, not funny, not convincing and not much fun, either. The humour is unsubtle, the characters are barely any fun to watch interact, the story makes no sense and finally, the ending blows. Quite frankly, Duo's a bore, and as much energy as the cast members invest in their one-note characters, it remains the equivalent of those lame-ass, clean-as-white American comedies that barely have an idea what their demographic is. The real winner in this Duo ain't you or the director, but rather Tim Hortons, which much be pretty fucking thrilled with the amount of product placement they managed to cram in this wet firecracker.
