MCT:July 13, 2008My sister loves this movie and I watched it with her once and found out why she likes it so much. It is highly entertaining and definitely worth the rating. The cast is hilariously placed and really do a good job and never have I seen Jeff Goldblum so young!

I love it for so many stupid reasons, and I think it's wonderfully strange and makes no darn since. Atleast you can say that's it unique and Jim Carey is awesome in it. -

I love Julie Brown, so this was a must. But what will supridse you most about this film is the amazing cast of A-list actors who were pretty much unknown when this was made. Some very amusing scenes, mostly the one's invoiving Ms. Brown.

really, really fun movie. yeah, it's wierd. yeah it's silly. but that's just fine.
take it from me, sometimes it's really awesome to watch a movie that's not tring to send you signals about how to think. sometimes it's nice to just be silly.
lighten up, watch a completely ridiculous, yet strangely amusing movie. Earth Girls Are Easy. -

Geena plays a beautiful but romantically unhappy manicurist Valley Girl who's doctor boyfriend Ted is cheating on her and Jeff plays the blue furred ringleader of three furry aliens, the other two being yellow furred Damon Wayans and pre-movie stardom red furred Jim Carrey. Furry aliens Jeff, Jim and Damon crash land in Geena's pool the day after Geena discovers how unfaithful Ted's been and the sight of them understandably throws her for a loop. With their ship down for repairs the boys will have to stay with Geena and, doing her part for interplanetary relations, takes them to her ditzy manicurist cohort Candy (Julie Brown) to give the guys make overs so they can pass for Earthlings. May not be brilliant comedy but like so many other comedies of the 80s this is still a reasonably funny, good natured romp with the cast making the most of it. Geena's easy to like and Jeff's a good straight man to the wild antics of Jim and Damon, who both appear to be having a good time as the nuttier aliens. Nothing essential to go out of your way to see, but certainly worth catching sometime.

if ever there was a bridge between Buckaroo Bonzai and The Fly, this is it. so loud ? '80s loud ? it hurts, this is never too funny nor entertaining. it's ok, with a good cast.

MCT:January 3, 2008This was film was more than bad...it was damn right terrible. Needless to say this didnt destory anybody career, believe it or not people liked it back then. Guess we have all grow up since then, but hollywood is still full of the same creeps.

This was a very cute movie. The direction was excellent. The story was kind and full of goodness towards the aliens. The scenes at the 1970's disco were priceless.

The beggining scared me ssssooo much! but idk why i kept waching it anyways but it turned out to be really good and not some weirdo psychopathic sci-fi flick. And whoa! Jim Carrey looked so young its almost scary LOL

I only watched this to see Jim Carrey in an early role. Geez he was hot. Read the plot and make your own assumptions.
