    TERRIBLE. This movie was pointless and terribly acted despite cameos from several big stars (Denise Richards, Julia Stiles, Mena Suvari & Joe Montegna.) Often enough, I won't like a movie, but at the end of this one, I was questioning why the hell it was made!!! The supposed 'twi...( read more)st' at the end of the movie is stupid, pointless and dare I say: The movie may just have sucked less without it. Thank God this was only 82 minutes long. Any longer I may have shot myself to end the pain.

    What an interesting combo - a David Mamet script directed by Stuart Gordon (of 'Re-animator' fame). I thought the film was a very good black comedy of sorts, though unfortunately it goes into what I felt was 'over-time' in the last third which seemed quite unnecessary. For me the...( read more) real story was about Edmond's night out, not the aftermath, though I guess they felt the need to resolve most of the things. Reading the synopsis again it has made the ending seem 'right' but I still felt it then could have been narratively constructed better to meet the intended ending. (I obviously am very limited to what I can say before I spoil the film, so yeah).

    Good film with some downfalls... Filled with racial slurs, probably not for everyone Violent lots of n-bombs but if you can get past that it is well acted
