    I had really high hopes for this, but I was kind of let down, for the couple of the scenes that do work, they are amazing, and william H. Macy is amazing all around, but so much of this movie seems fake, unrealistic, and flat out right theathrical. It could have been a masterpeic...( read more)e, but instead were only handed a few glispes mix in with a pile. But those few scenes make it watchable.

    Disappointing. This had all the right elements. David Mamet. William H. Macy. A depraved man, seedy underworld, and a heavy dose of fate. It had flashes of brilliance and didn't blink at pushing the envelope. Too bad it was in service of a contrived catharsis and flat philosophy.
