Crazy looking guy. =O
William H. Macy gives one of his performances in this very dark, gritty and controversial film wrttien by David Mamet. His script is well-written and direction by horror director Stuart Gordon is simple but effective. The all-star supporting cast are all good in their supporting...( read more)
In classic Mamet fashion-dialogue and story telling, this harrowing tale follows Edmond Burke's overnight spiral into dementia in a frantic search for making up lost life time. A spooky and gripping tale of "mid-life crisis", with Macy continuing to prove that he is David Mamet'...( read more)
edmond....haha that just reminded me of the incredibles..hehe "EDNA MODE!!! xD"
May appear more interesting if spawned off an episode of "The Twilight Zone".
Where this character ends up is so different from where he starts, that it's kind of worth the journey. Not what I expected form David Mamet.
hmm good cast william h macy is the one from pleasantville isnt he> and julia stiles too
Either too dull or too depressing or too morbid...I'm not quite sure.

What an interesting combo - a David Mamet script directed by Stuart Gordon (of 'Re-animator' fame). I thought the film was a very good black comedy of sorts, though unfortunately it goes into what I felt was 'over-time' in the last third which seemed quite unnecessary. For me the...( read more)
I love William H. Macy because he always plays pathetic parts: Magnolia, Fargo, etc.
Good film with some downfalls... Filled with racial slurs, probably not for everyone Violent lots of n-bombs but if you can get past that it is well acted
