Absolutely awesome!! One of Tim Burton's best!! The best ones have to be this, Beetlejuice, Sweeney Todd and Sleepy Hollow!! Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder were brilliant!! This film is in a way like King Kong because the cops were after Edward because he was different and that he was causing real problems which he couldn't help. Just like Kong in New York City and the Empire State Building scene. It is really funny aswell. This film proves that Tim Burton and Johnny Depps film partnership can never go wrong or be underestimated. I have seen all of the Tim Burton-Johnny Depp films. The make-up is brilliant in this film. The make-up Johnny has as Edward looks like similar sort of make-up as he has in Sweeney Todd. Brilliant art and costumes, just like in all of the Tim Burton films. This film is probably better to watch at night than in the day, like a saturday night or something, like I did when I first watched this film. Tim Burton's modern-day fable succeeds beautifully as sharp comedy and achingly sad romance. The imaginative set design and spellbinding story are both superb, but the real joys here are the performances, particularly from Depp. It's still one of his finest moments, in a movie that is certainly one of the best fantasy films ever made. In my opinion, this is the most touching film of all time and the most influenced film I have ever watched. I have seen this film so many times.

Odd, freaky, strange... but it has all the features of a great film. A "freak" trying to find his place in the world is just great especially with Depp!

I know it's Burton's story, but it's really good. Everything is sweet in this. And it's got Alan Arkin, who is cool in general.

OMG! The moral to this film is phenominal!
It teaches you to be different and that there's someone for everyone, and to just be yourself and people will like you for who you are.
Even if you have giant scissors for hands!
    Truely an amazing movie!

Kim: It must have been awful when they told you whose house it was.
Edward: I knew it was Jim's house.
    Kim: You... you did?
    Edward: Yes.
Kim: ...Well, then why'd you do it?
Edward: Because you asked me to.

Well, I believe this is a movie which can make even a tough guy touched. What is more painful than an outsider uncommon man, in love with a girl of his dream who he can't even hold? Burton made this movie into a fairytale that can be enjoyed by anyone, any age, anything you are. This is the best of Burton, even though I've seen that Sweeney Todd of his, still, this movie is CLASSIC, and I don't think anyone can do something to beat that.

Johnny Depp at the early years of his career played Edward, and invented man who wasn't finished after the death of the inventor. This is probably a movie that we can see Depp mostly in his PURITY. I guess no one surprised to see what he turned into now. Depp and Ryder's chemistry was one of the best in movie history. The script was unforgettable. This is a prove that they don't need a complicated script that only an Einstein could understand to make a good and memorable script. THE BEST OF BURTON-DEPP COLABORATION

    Kim: Hold me.
    Edward: I can't.

This film freaked me out when I was a kid, but I still loved the sweet sadness of the title character. This is one of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's finest collaborations.

I was obsessed with this movie in grade school and I still could watch it over and over again. Tim Burton at his finest (basically everything up to this time is great). I love the music, the acting, set design, costume design... the design of EVERYTHING! RIP Vincent Price.

This is one of Burton's best films (actually, all of Burton's films are amazing. There really aren't any that you can't call "one of his best films."). He makes his movies so different from anyone else's, and it's nice to follow a story unlike any other. The neighborhood looked like something out of a cartoon, with it's vividly colored houses and crazy foliage sculptures (well, after Edward got his hands on them...or should I say his scissors on them?). And speaking of Edward Scissorhands, who to play the part better than Johnny Depp? You can cast him as any character in the world and he'd do a great job. Bravo to Burton and the whole cast on this one!

A little wierd, but Danny Elfman's musical score is beautiful. The score is both moving and enchanting. I get lost in the music alone every time I watch this movie.
