A shooting star in Barcelona-based music, Perez was equal parts musical visionary and societal outsider, quickly rising to musical greatness before his life was cut short in 1990 at the age of 40. While touching on Perez's biographical information, Pons also features the music the multi-talented musician created, as interpreted by a number of current popular Spanish genre musicians including Ojos de Brujo, Benjamin Escoriza, Maria del Mar Bonet, and Luis Eduardo Aute. ~ Ryan Shriver, Rovi
