That's five stars for one of the sexiest ladies of the Eighties, Monique Gabrielle at her peak, and negative 3.5 stars for everything else. Hot off her delightful turn as twin sisters in the hilarious <i>Deathstalker II,</i> Monique inherits the role of Emmanuelle and parades around the world unintentionally turning on every weird & creepy guy she meets. There is some sort of twisted story going on underneath (I think) loosely connecting the encounters but I didn't care and the filmmakers didn't either. Maybe it's because I didn't see what happened in <i>Emmanuelle 4?</i> (Yuk yuk.) If the other <i>Emmanuelle</i> movies follow this same brand of faux-artsy facade, I'm not about to work my way backwards.
