November 27, 2008Loved this when I was a kid and even then it kind of depressed me. I know it was the 70s but how the hell can anyone get excited about earning 50 cents or even winning $50? January 11, 2008When I was a kid, this was our FAVOURITE book, year round. When they made it into a movie, I was already much older so couldn't really 'appreciate' it as much as my younger sisters. I still think it's a cool Christmas story.

July 17, 2008I don't know if kids today could see past the puppets with visible strings, but this movie has some catchy tunes, and a good moral story. If nothing else, it's good for a laugh.
