What Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer actually do is project familiarity. That?s it! They don't even try and write jokes it seems. The brain-dead of society see something like they've seen before and mistake humour with recognition. How did this happen? Is evolution going backward...( read more)s? Needless to say, this is an awful film and a complete waste of time, not insulting but you do have to wonder about the people who make and enjoy this sort of thing.

This was a big budget movie basically ripping off any movie it could, well thats how it should be. Unfortunately, tho' comedy, it was not really subtle enough and did not accomodate for all films. Perhaps one to watch another day, or not.

You have to like slapstick comedy complete based on spoofing other movies to like this movie. I don't. I only lasted 15 minutes.

I hope everyone involved in the writing of this film dies. I hope their children die. And I hope their grandchildren become homeless orphans who have to...( read more) blow other, slightly better-off, homeless people, just to get a brief swig of their cheap substitute vodka to wash away the taste of blowing them in the first place, and to numb the never ending pain that they feel from their own miserable lives that still isn't quite as bad as having a fucking writers credit for Epic Movie.
