November 6, 2009I read the books and they BUTCHERED the books. If they had butchered the Harry Potter movies as badly as they butchered Eragon there would have been mass rioting in the streets. Simply a very poor adaptation that was barely worthy of being a cinematic release.

October 25, 2009Okay, in all honesty, this is a rarity for me. For once, I totally prefer the movie over the book... I realize Paolini was a first time writer, and he did an amazing job, but it just wasn't my type of book, I guess. The film, however, was outstanding!

October 21, 2009Complete rip-off of Star Wars, only with bad special effects, bad dialoug, and boring characters. The only good thing that can be said is that the dragon was cute in the beginning (and then magically grows older quickly with no explaination).

October 15, 2009this looks so DUMB...i'd really rather read the book is what i said before when i put it as NOT INTERESTED :P but it's alright. some really cheesy/lame parts but not that bad. Eragon and his cousin look like twins. and most memorable part:

September 26, 2009This movie was wicked! I loved the dragon and the whole medieval aspect of the story. It entertained to the very end with great twists and suspense.

August 30, 2009the special effects are magical but that's pretty the only good thing about the film. The acting was bad, dialogue was horrid and the pacing makes you wanna say "hurry up already!"
