August 15, 2009Kind of so-so. Obviously targeted to younger audiences, it made short work of character development and some of the editing decisions destroyed the pacing of the film. Sequels could be better.

The characters are well developed, the storyline is good and tha animations are handled well. It is all set up for the sequel.

July 28, 2009it is one of these wierd films were if you like action and can put up with some really stupid moment you might like to see
and normally it helps if ya like fantasy
also if you like one of the actreses in the film always makes it slightly more enjoyable LOL -

July 11, 2009It's OK. It doesn't match the brilliant (and huge) novel which it was based on, but Eragon is still fairly good.

July 9, 2009Though based on an overrated book and with a run-time that was far shorter than it should have been, how can you not like massive medieval battles, scorcery and CG dragons?
