Goofy country boy Ernest gets framed and put in jail. I liked the funny courtroom scene. I thought the prison settings were silly and low-budget. Nothing really bad happens to Ernest behind bars, so don't worry kids!

When Ernest goes to jail has to be one of the better films of the Ernest series. The film has that simple but laughable humour. Jim Varney is funny as Ernest. The character Ernest is so likable and funny. This is not award winning comedy but it works for this type of film. A come...( read more)

Not bad really, it had it's humourous moments, but most of the time it was incredibly silly (and not exactly in a good way.)
