never again will i watch this movie. most of the time it didnt even make sense, and it was filled with perverted humor hardly worth laughing at. i know people who love it, tho, so dont just go by what i say. i wouldnt reccomend it. p.s. not all upers talk like the actors - i should know, i'm a uper at heart!
If ya' live in the Great Northwoods this one will truly hit home with its hilarious tale of deer camp. Always a fan of Jeff Daniels it is a wonderful time to see his true character shine.
ok didn't watch whole movie and I am sure I will sometime but I will give it 2*s for the one particular scene I was shown...yes it was bad but omg I have to admit it was stinkin (pun pun pun) funny!
My All time favorite movie..the Jimmer is so awesome and weird of course and i love hunting movies and this is da best one and its a movie dat u can never get sick of and watch over and over again and still be funny.lol
You got to watch this movie at a party. You'll be laughing so hard you'll be on your hands and knees. The synopsis on the back is one of those miss leading ones. It's better than it sounds, trust me.
A really disappointing movie. The first half hour of the movie was hilarious, but when the side story of the UFO and the character of Jimmers came into the story, it just became a mess. Oh, did I hate the UFO storyline. Joey Albright though was quite a surprise as I found myself laughing at him several times. Not the best acted either as well. I guess I was expecting so much more from this, but it just wasn;t as good as I thought it was going to be.
I love this movie because he is so funny and its filmed in the upper part of michigan, a place where I go fishing on the great lakes, not to far from the town in the movie
This movie really struggles to find an identity and comes up short with a strange mix of Northern Michigan lore, unbalanced dark comedy and a fart sequence that would make Beavis & Butthead blush.
