April 25, 2008I keep watching these Paul Naschy movies because they're supposed to be cult classics but they leave me bored and listless. A cool scene that last two or three seconds does not a horror movie make. The sets are usually decent and the women kinda hot in that '60s Euro-goth way, and I admire Naschy's passion for classic horror, but his movies are only tolerable at best. Not bad enough to be campy fun, not nearly good enough as their reputations suggest.
