I think this the most well written movie I've ever seen. I have never seen Jim Carrey performing like this. Kate Winslet was great too. One extra thing you have to spot in the movie is the music. The music was really great, Jon Brion did a great job.

This is my absolute favorite movie of all time. It's perfectly shot by Michel Gondry.. a director that I'm sure to keep tabs on.

This is one of the best movies I've ever seen, Jim Carrey's best work to date. I think some day this movie will be truely reconginzed for its brilliance and Jim Carrey will be recognized for his overlooked acting abilities.

For some reason lots of my friends liked this particular movie, but it just really didn't do much for me. Maybe I liked it better the first time I saw it before I got my brain erased. *Smirk*

I loved this movie , this movie is just one of those movies that I am glad i saw before died ( not that i am yet lol ) Jim Carey was impressive and so was Kate winslet . I just wish I saw it much sooner .

the first time i saw this i could barely see the screen and it was super dark, but i loved it nonetheless. Kate Winslet is an amazing actress and i had no idea Jim Carrey could be like that. If you haven't seen it yet, you should go rent it right now......GO!!!!

*When Clementine and Joel are in the Montauk beach house, Clementine finds an envelope that says David and Ruth Laskin. David and Ruth are the first names of Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey's assistants.
*To help promote the movie, a fully functional website was created for Lacuna (http://www.lacunainc.com) purporting to provide memory erasure. The only giveaway is the link to watch Joel Barish "experience the procedure", which links to the movie's official site.
*When Joel is in his head and is visiting his session of the erasing process, no special effects were used to show the two Joels in the one scene. Jim Carrey had to take off his hat and jacket when he was not in shot and had to quickly sit down in the chair and visa-versa when he has to stand up.

I think veryyyyyy rare % of people would say this movie is bad, is excellent, realistic and how they treat the theme of love, Biologycally erasing the memory by scanning activity during remember, it can be posible, I am a biologist and I tell you is the first movie I said: wow this science fiction will be real in mauybe a decade!!!!
