December 23, 2007one thing i found contradicting, this movie tried to present a princess that is an idealist or, on a lesser extent, a feminist but she still cried too much like a disney princess imo. aside from that, i found the film's take on the fairy tale inventive and barrymore's take refreshing from the roles she has now.

February 22, 2007When I saw this for the first time I was dissappointed because the movie was too sweet and it didn't raise feelings in me. I have learned to love this after watching it a few times. I love Drew and her beautiful costume with the wings and the glass slippers. It was great that she is more stronger than the prince but luckily in the end it showed that the prince is not a total wimp afterall. I also love the music. This is simply a very good fairytale movie. There are many great scenes in it like the one where Danielle and the prince go to the library and when they meet the chipsies in the forest and the parts with Leonardo DaVinci are interesting. This is a sweet and happy movie.
Oh, and someone who asked about the song in the trailer I have the answer. It's Fable by Robert Miles. And the end song of the movie is Texas - Put Your Arms Around Me. -
