Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"A poor imitation of The Big Chill--lesbian style--poorly executed and schematically written."
‑ Emanuel Levy, Variety
"This lesbian film belongs to the reunion genre--like Return of the Secaucus Seven--but is not much fun."
‑ Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.Com
"There's nothing here that hasn't been done before a million times, and at least a million times better."
‑ Jeff Vice, Deseret News, Salt Lake City
"Recalling The Return of the Secaucus Seven rather than the more expensive but more superficial The Big Chill, Everything Relative is one of the best lesbian films yet."
‑ Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times
"How could you not like a film which features Harvey Fierstein as a moyl with two-pierced ears? You simply can't."
‑ Brandon Judell, Critics Inc./America Online
"A mixed bag."
‑ Edward Guthmann, San Francisco Chronicle
"With no distinct storyline or one strong individual character to lead the way, the film comes to feel patched together."
‑ Joe Baltake, Sacramento Bee
