A CRY IN THE DARK is an extremely well told, deeply involving drama.
Director Fred Schepisi is excellent in the directors' seat, as is Meryl Streep in the lead role, proving once again why she's an acting legend. Her portrayal of Lindy Chamberlain is chillingly perfect.

After watching this movie and Meryl Streeps portrayal of Lindy Chamberlain i can now understand why Lindy was accused of murdering her daughter Azaria. To me Lindy appeared heartless and emotionless,i never once felt sorry for her throughout the movie but i did feel sorry for her...( read more)
