Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"Feels like a promising college project that wasn't ready for the real world."
‑ Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News
"It is cleverly conceived, well acted and seasoned with blips of mildly acidic wit."
‑ Stephen Holden, New York Times
"The romantic quest that's meant to drive the film is meaningless because Alexander Poe has extended empathy to no one besides himself"
‑ Chuck Bowen, Slant Magazine
"Connolly and Carpenter both strongly impress in their complementary roles, all the more believable for being seen largely through Graham's eyes."
‑ Ronnie Scheib, Variety
"The callow behavior that characterizes Ex-Girlfriends' lead would be less maddening had writer/director/star Alexander Poe firmly decided how to portray the bedroom follies of youth."
‑ Simon Abrams, Village Voice
"Unconvincing indie rom-com has artful aspirations but lacks flavor."
‑ John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter
"Ex-Girlfriends is one case in which you truly wish life didn't cling so closely to art."
‑ Matt Singer, Time Out New York
