What I loved about this film is it shows to the history of "queer" in (mostly) american cinema, from an early occurence, but all explains the social and political history of America in the time of the highlighted films.

A very thorough history lesson on queer cinema, covering just about every movie and featuring many queer actors, directors, and other talents in interviews. Comes off as a tad pretentious at times, but you'll come out (heh heh) of it very well-educated.
