Sollima's following western after his outstanding La Resa dei Conti, with Milian and Volonté as two opposing men who start to become like one another. The story is quite compelling, though Volonté's character seems to change too fast and not in a very convincing way.

Fantastic performances from Milian and Volante, good direction and solid score from Morricone. I have my issues with the plot, mostly Volante's character switching gears so suddenly, and becoming a rapist, heartless bastard just like that. This might benefit from a rewatch.
