  Very touching romantic film which is devoid of any real romance. You'll know what I mean if you watch it. At times it borders on melodrama sentimentality which harms the most emotional of scenes. We don't need somebody crying, a haunting voice over AND sad piano music to get the point across. For the majority of the film though, it is a gradual character piece with real heart. Kang-jae is a great down and out gangster who has meaning given to his life by somebody he doesn't even meet. Sad, but never quite confident to let the story speak for itself.
