This… More The first of a two-film package, THE HABIT OF HAPPINESS star Douglas Fairbanks as the high-spirited Sunny Wiggins. After Sunny (Douglas Fairbanks) brings a group of homeless derelicts into the house of his wealthy father, providing food and shelter, the angry patriarch throws him out. This doesn't bother Sunny, who goes to live in a flophouse, and teaches the denizens of skid-row how to laugh. Learning of Sunny's success, a doctor asks for his help in curing the wealthy Jonathan Pepper (George Fawcett) of chronic low spirits. Even Sunny's talents are incapable of making the old man smile, but he does fall in love with the man' daugher. When kidnappers arrive to abduct Pepper, Jonathan foils their plan. Fairbanks also stars in MANHATTAN MADNESS as cowboy Steve O'Dare. The former urbanite returns to New York and tells his socialite friends how unimpressed he is with the kind of thrills available in the city. His friends try to convince him that he's wrong, and indeed, he meets a woman (Jewel Carmen) who does thrill him shortly thereafter. Her patron Count Marinoff (Eugene Ormonde) invites him to a party at his Long Island mansion, but when he gets there he has to fight off the dozen odd thugs who have attacked him. After his friends reveal the whole incident as a practical joke, Steve decides to call in some of his cowboy buddies and show his friends how a practical joke really works.
