Hamilton Sterling made his feature directorial debut with this allegorical drama which he wrote, directed, produced, and edited. Kind soul Charles (Jeff Hawke) is a chimney sweep who falls under the corrupting influence of homeless evil figure Nick (George Gerlernter). With an assist from a wealthy man, Nick manages to manipulate events for Charles, who nevertheless loses his soul in the course of his climb to success.
