    A Supernatural, unexplicable Serial Killer film, that left me feeling quite flat on my first viewing of this film, I?m a big fan of Serial Killer films and this didn?t quite fit for me. Second watching was definitely more focussed on the Supernatural telling of the story.

    Den...( read more)zel Washington wasn?t particular out of the ordinary in this film, but I did like the way the paranoia was created throughout by not knowing who or where the killer was coming from next.

    Whilst the outcome was an ok ending, the length the final scene took seemed to go on and on and really made you lose interest in the whole film.

    Good film but it gave a little too much away too soon. Some of the actors are wasted too but everyone puts in a good performance. It?s no Seven but well worth a watch!

    Good idea, not so well in the execution department. Exorcist meet serial killer thriller sounds good until you read the script and realize there's not much more there than the basic idea.

    One great flick. Its on like one-three times a week seriously, and I watch it. I am surprised I haven't reviewed it earlier. Washington plays a homocide detective, who witnesses an execution of a serial killer. He starts to discover the killer though executed may actually not be ...( read more)dead, completely. The spirit of the killer is still on the loose, able embody anyone it wishes, and this spirit loves the stones song "Time on my side" (which you will is a perfect theme for this wandering spirit. This spirit starts stalking Washington, and coming very close, and Washington is helpless to do anything about it. Once the spirit leaves the body, the host has no recollection of the events that had just occured. Whats really neat is that fact that the movie narrated not by Washington, but by the spirit. Great flick.

    Just the cast alone should be reason to want to see this, but alongside all that you add on a great storyline with a twist that the killer could be anyone, anywhere and can't seemingly ever be defeated. Denzel extends his streak of great performances, and an extra half-point for ...( read more)the ending where the bad guy wins in the end. That's rare.

    Oh God, I loved the ending of this movie!
    The movie starts with the beggining, and then we realize that what we think it was, isn't.
    Denzel Washington is always a nice thing to look at, so that's already a plus. The girl kinda annoys me with all that God talk... But the idea of t...( read more)he movie is good. I really liked it.

    Great movie! Everyone in it more then pulled their weight especially Washington. Dark, eerie and underrated just how i like it!

    great supernatural mystery it is a great crime drama.Could have done a better job in some parts,and not give so much away so soon. other than that worth seeing

    Dark and compelling films are hard to come across these days, well ones that are actually good mind you. While Fallen is not a great supernatural mystery it is a great crime drama at that and is exceedingly dark, compelling, emotional, smart, witty and almost sadistic.




    ...( read more)Fallen is not your usual crime drama it delves into the supernatural and the soul of what evil really looks like and how it can infest and control people, while at first I did not take a liking to this film as it dealt with things that are not so easy to stomach. But after seeing it I feel much differently about this movie while not a great D.W. film it does have it's moments of really true emotional depth and character. Almost to the point that you feel for the characters and can sympathize for Denzel's , it's a sign that this film was well thought out in that department and with a great script, good direction and sometimes witty dialogue and an interesting premise elevates this film from average to great.



    Denzel Washington (who turns in a fantastic performance as the smart and charismatic detective.) is nothing short of brilliant here. He takes a regular character to something amazing to watch onscreen it's truly fantastic. John Goodman(who is also amazing here.) Is fantastic and very funny at sometimes as Washington's partner and is another character and actor to admire in this film. But none the less the cast does an amazing job in this brilliant and dark film.




    Fallen is not film greatness but it is a great mystery film to enjoy and marvel at the dark, sinister undertones that it has. It's a a good D.W. movie and can be enjoyed by fans of his and even his non fans of Denzel. But all in all Fallen delivers
