Todd Solondz's first film feels more like a really demented Woody Allen movie then a Solondz movie, but there are definitely hints of what was to come. Solondz himself, hates the movie, but I'm not Solondz, and I love it.

A lost classic. The debut movie by Todd Solondz. I love the character Junk. Sadly, Solondz says this may never be released on DVD.

The acting was abysmal. Todd Solondz is a shitty actor and should stick to making movies and not being in them. His stutter made me want to punch him in the face. I didn't laugh once. The end.

Like most people I always assumed Solondz' first movie was Welcome to the Dollhouse. So to find there's an earlier one is intriguing.
