Critic Reviews

  • R. L. Shaffer, IGN DVD

Scary at times, but uninspired and often illogical.

  • Staci Layne Wilson, Horror.com

Filled with tons of blood and gore and scary/frightening images, this film is easily one of the best of the After Dark Original series. One of the greatest haunted house movies out there.

It may has a familiar plot in the haunting houses genre but "Fertile Ground" really worth the watching time. It succeeds at delivering good scares, jumping moments and tension along with good acting and producing values.
