La piedra angular del stop-motion. Jan Svankmajer, Henry Selick, los hermanos Quay... le deben todo a este corto que aún no me puedo creer que haya sido realizado en 1934!

Saw this on the big screen and it was amazing! i Cant believe in 1932 Strarewicz was creating animation this real. you can tell that he inspired Tim Burtons legendary works and not to mention Toy Story, as a modern version of this classic. i recommend to everybody :)

I think this is the best film by Wladyslaw Starewicz. I first saw it at the end of Carl Theodor Dreyer's Vampyr. I wish there were more Starewicz listed in Flixster.

A delightful film about a dog that is beautiful and extremely delightful as it goes on an adventure that seems to have no cause but just a sympathy for a kid that would like something as simple as a orange and when the ending comes, it is as sweet as it can possibly be.
