A hard-hitting and action-packed drama. It's compelling, excting, furious and powerful. A great flick with strong performances from its cast. Terrence Howard and Channing Tatum are teriffic. It's Fight Club meets Midnight Cowboy. A tough, stylish. adrenline-pumping and heart-poun...( read more)ding film. A surprisingly great and ferocious action flick.

Ugh...so sad. Love Terrence Howard and this so dissapointed. What a crappy movie. It's called fighting, you would expect a lot more of it. The story was crap, there was so much "fake" acting I wanted to scream. I still don't know why I sat throught the whole thing...but all I can...( read more) say is what a huge waste of time.

"Some dreams are worth the fight."

In New York City, a young counterfeiter is introduced to the world of underground street fighting by a seasoned scam artist, who becomes his manager on the bare-knuckling brawling circuit.

I was quite impressed by the trailer and felt that film was very edgy and gritty, focusing on the main character's inner turmoil and his greed that fuels his fighting. That's what I got from the trailer. The film overall is boring with a cast that cannot give the audience that little bit of emotion that is needed to hold their attention. Channing Tatum plays a simple country boy who comes to the big city making a living selling tit-for-tat merchandise. Until he gets robbed and catches the attention of a 'dopey' Terrence Howard. The acting is really bad and the script just seems to get worse as the film goes on. It feels as if the bad actors were allowed to improvise and yet again there is a 'love interest'; who does nothing to forward the already tedious movie.

Not really a fan of Howard...his voice gets to me after awhile. Tatum is nice to look at, but not a good actor at all. The bookie was a horrible actor as well! The hot guys are what saved this for me :P

I never really had any interest in this except for the fact that Channing Tatum was playing the main role. I only caught this on my starz channel recently & gave it a shot.

The movie's storyline doesn't bring anything new to the table & at times I was wondering what really wa...( read more)s the story since there wasn't a strong pull in any direction.

Recommend as a rental & only that.....
