The Danish Friends Forever (Venner for Altid) stars Claus Bender Mortensen as the new kid in school. The teen-aged Mortensen forms a strong friendship with punkish Thomas Siggisard, and also with non-...( read more  read more... )joiner Thomas Elholm. The boy remains loyal to both, despite Siggisard's involvement in juvenile delinquency and Elholm's gayness. Eventually Mortensen drops out of school, whereupon he becomes romantically involved with activist-in-the-making Christine Skou and pop star Lill Lindfors. An expanded version of an earlier, award-winning short subject, this was director Stevan Henszelman's first feature.
